Warwick, artesian, stahelin (was) BEAUTIFICATION PLAN

The Warwick, Artesian, Stahelin Beautification Plan identifies opportunities and envisions new landscapes for the neighborhood north of the Detroit Manufacturing Systems (DMS) campus in northwest Detroit. The mix of recommended landscape types prioritizes environmental benefits, community assets and physical enhancements. The overall project has the potential to positively transform the DMS neighborhood and campus. Sustainable landscape strategies featured in the plan offer a layered experience celebrating art, health and nature. Proposed landscapes and associated development strategies also aim to integrate the DMS campus with the surrounding community. Combined with the consideration of nearby commercial, residential and industrial properties, the Warwick, Artesian, Stahelin Beautification Plan presents a model for holistic community development.
